CircuitousRoot shop size table v.2 (2007-02-12). Public Domain. Fractions and conversions recalculated.
Sources and verification method
Every published drill or tap record cites one source with its title, edition, locator and the date we checked it. Records are approved individually; changing a value or its source invalidates the approval until it is rechecked.
Inch–millimetre conversion uses the exact definition 1 in = 25.4 mm. Converted figures are shown to four decimal places (mm) or six (in), rounded half-up and labelled as converted; source precision is preserved separately.
Reviewed by Codex — AI source-and-calculation verification, 9 September 2026. Each of the 168 records was checked against its source row, dimensions, units and dependencies. This is AI verification, not independent human engineering certification. Material-specific chart recommendations do not guarantee exact thread engagement.
